By accessing flux-mesa.com and using our electric bike rental services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
flux-mesa provides electric bicycle rental services across multiple Canadian cities. Our service includes bike rental, safety equipment, basic maintenance support, and customer assistance during the rental period. We reserve the right to modify service offerings, pricing, and availability without prior notice.
To rent an electric bike from flux-mesa, you must meet the following requirements:
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who fails to meet these requirements or has previously violated rental terms.
Reservations made through our website are considered binding once confirmed. A security deposit of $200 CAD is required at pickup and will be refunded upon return of the bike in acceptable condition. Rental fees must be paid in full at the time of pickup unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours forfeit 50% of the rental fee. No-shows forfeit the entire rental fee.

You assume full financial responsibility for any damage to the rented bike beyond normal wear and tear. This includes damage from accidents, theft resulting from inadequate security, or vandalism. You will be charged the actual cost of repairs or replacement, deducted from your security deposit with any excess amount billed separately.
flux-mesa is not liable for injuries, accidents, or losses incurred during bike use. You acknowledge that cycling carries inherent risks and agree to assume those risks voluntarily. We strongly recommend obtaining appropriate insurance coverage.
All bikes are inspected before rental, but you must verify that the equipment meets your needs during the initial orientation. We make no warranties regarding the suitability of specific bikes for particular purposes beyond their general design specifications.
We are not responsible for mechanical failures that occur despite proper maintenance, though we will provide roadside assistance and arrange replacement equipment when possible.
Bikes must be returned by the agreed time. Late returns incur a fee of $15 CAD per hour. Returns more than 6 hours late may result in additional charges equivalent to a full day's rental. Bikes not returned within 24 hours of the scheduled return time will be reported as stolen, and appropriate legal action will be taken.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of our service without notice. This includes pricing changes, fleet composition, location availability, and operational hours. Such changes do not affect existing confirmed reservations.
All content on flux-mesa.com, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of flux-mesa or its content suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without explicit written permission.
We may terminate your access to our services immediately if you violate these terms or engage in behavior that damages our equipment, endangers others, or disrupts our operations. Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations or liability for damages.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be governed by the laws of the province in which the rental occurred. You agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.
flux-mesa's total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific rental period in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining terms remain in full force and effect.
We may revise these Terms of Use at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
